Sandrini Elementary School History

Sandrini Elementary School was named to honor dedicated leader and respected community member, Louise Sandrini.

Sandrini Elementary School was established in 1979 and is nestled in a quiet southwest Bakersfield neighborhood between Akers Road and White Lane. The Sandrini staff takes pride in having high expectations for academic performance and citizenship.  

 

Sandrini Elementary School has a staff of 26 teachers. District support personnel for the instructional program include instrumental and vocal music instructors, a reading specialist, and a speech pathologist. District psychologists, nurses, and curriculum and technology specialists also provide support as needed.

Vision: Sandrini Elementary will empower each child to be a lifelong learner, equipped to contribute to a changing complex society. To ensure this, we keep our focus on student learning, our expectations remain high for all students. We use the lens of student learning to determine next steps using assessment data to modify instruction.
